Book Your Float
|
To make a float trip reservation please email
us at
info@MadRiverAdventures.com or call us at 406-581-3380 to
determine if the river and preferred dates are available for
the 2021 fishing season.
We return calls during fishing
season either in the morning or evenings when we are off the
river. When leaving a message regarding a trip please leave
your name, best contact number for after hours, preferred trip
dates, river preference, and number in your party. This way we
may review our calendar and call you back to book and confirm
the trip.
We use either a 14-foot Aire inflatable raft or 15-foot
Mackenzie style drift boat depending on water levels on the
specific trip date. Life jackets are required in Montana for
each person in the boat and are provided by the outfitter.
Children under 12 are required to wear the lifejacket while on
the water.

Health/Dietary Considerations
Please notify your guide prior to launch of any health
concerns since you will be on the water and away from a
vehicle for several hours. Additionally, we are more than
happy to accommodate any dietary considerations if we are made
aware of them in advance of your trip.
|
Fishing Licenses
Please refer to Montana's Fish Wildlife and Parks website
(http://www.fwp.mt.gov) for current guidelines regarding
fishing licenses. Madison River has several stretches of
water, which are catch-and-release and can be found in the
Central Montana section of the fishing regulations. You may
purchase your license online prior to arriving for your float
trip or we may pick one up from one of the local licensing
agents in town.

Travel Planning
The closest airport for airline reservations would be
Bozeman, Montana (airport code: BZN). All major rental car
companies are available offsite. Ennis is located southwest of
the airport (57 miles) and northwest of Yellowstone Park's
West Entrance (72 miles).

Local Activities
If you are traveling with your family or planning to stay
in the area for a few days we can make recommendations for
other activities in the area. Our picturesque part of Montana
affords unlimited sightseeing, hiking, horseback riding, and
other tourist activities. |
