FAQs
|
Q. I don't own any fishing gear so will you be able to
provide?
A. Yes, we have a full-line of fishing gear available to
you upon request for your float trip. We do not charge for the
use of the gear during our float trip. If you want to rent for
wade fishing while in the area, please contact for
availability and rental fees.
|
Q. What should I pack or buy for my trip?
A. We have compiled a list of recommended items to pack
before leaving home to assist in enjoying your fishing
experience. If you prefer to shop locally our guide shops or
sporting goods stores will have all of these items available.
- Camera
- Binoculars
- State Issued Drivers License
- Sweater or light jacket
- Rain gear
- Long pants/shorts; weather dependant
- Sunscreen and insect repellant
- Sunglasses; recommend polarized
- Wading footwear; waders, sandals, or shoes that can get
wet and provide traction
- Personal care items for trip duration
- Waterproof bags to protect personal items
If you don't have fishing gear we are more than happy to
provide you with them, with the exception of flies. This way
you can travel light and upon arrival you may purchase your
Montana fishing license and personal flies customized to the
current fishing conditions and hatch patterns. We also have
rain gear available since the weather can be unpredictable.
|
Q. I have special dietary needs can these be accommodated?
A. Yes, if we are notified prior to trip we will make every
attempt to provide meals tailored to your dietary
requirements. Sack lunches are available in vegetarian.
|
Q. One of us has a health condition, how is this handled?
A. As a licensed outfitter I am current on my CPR
certification. Any personal care items should be brought with
you since you will be on the river from launch to take-off and
we will make accommodations as needed to get them on the
vessel.
